Issue/Introduction

Message on SYSLOG, and within on of the DB2 DIST stc's, not pointing to a particular ACID.

DB2 address space started showing TSS7003W messages in the DB2 joblog.

 

Cause

The DB2DIST facility is only configured to issue the TSS7003W message, which indicates that an ACID is about to expire but does not specify which one.

Resolution

To identify the specific ACID, you will need to set LUMSG and STMSG to enable the TSS70001I and TSS7001I messages.
 
To modify the facility, please issue the following commands:
 
TSS MODIFY FAC(DB2DIST=LUMSG)
TSS MODIFY FAC(DB2DIST=STMSG)
