Issue/Introduction

Banner pages do not appear when printing SYSOUTs to datasets or printers, even though banners are expected based on the Report Definition.

Environment

* z/OS
* OM Deliver
* OM View

Cause

The **SARPRTUX** user exit is responsible for banner page processing. If a modified version of **SARPRTUX** (which may be designed to suppress banners) is found in the system LINKLIST or a higher-priority library in the search order, it will override the default product exit and prevent banners from printing.

Resolution

In this case a modified SARPRTUX had been created that was suppressing the creation of Banner Pages

If Banner Pages are required then SARPRTUX exit would need to be modified accordingly

The default SARPRTUX module does not suppress Banner Pages.
