Failed to upload PDF file to PAIS knowledge bases

Issue/Introduction

Customer need to setup knowledge bases in Data Indexing and Retrieval, it failed when upload PDF file.

Below warning found in log of pais-rex-worker pod:

"Failed to extract chapters from PDF document_id=UUID('<uuid>') err=UnsupportedDigestmodError('[digital envelop routines] unsupported') op_id=paih.indexing.tasks._factory.index_uploaded_document_task-<task_id>"

Resolution

Upload unsecured PDF or other supported format files to knowledge base (e.g., .txt or .docx).
