Issue/Introduction

After a failed upgrade to CU6, we downgraded via VM Snapshot restore but unwanted/not previously monitoring processes metrics were enabled for some reason.

Environment

  • DX UIM 23.4 CU4

Cause

  • Unknown

Resolution

The customer followed these steps to rectify the unwanted process probe metrics:

  1. Navigate to OC Inventory->Groups->click on a group->Monitoring Config->Setup_Processes, and then uncheck the 3 unwanted QoS metrics.

  2. Click Save.

  3. Repeat the steps above for each of the other affected host groups.

  4. Wait for all of those profiles to redeploy.

  5. Check again for profile deployment problems.
