Issue/Introduction

DA is stopping after a few minutes

From karaf.log

Caused by: com.vertica.support.exceptions.NonTransientConnectionException: [Vertica][VJDBC](100176) Failed to connect to host (vertica-host) on port 5433.

Reason: Failed to establish a connection to the primary server or any backup address due to network error

 

Environment

DX NetOps :: All Supported Versions

Cause

Vertica database was down after patching and did not restart

Resolution

Start vertica using adminTools
