Primary Node Name Displays as UUID Instead of FQDN in Cluster Configuration in Aria Operations

Issue/Introduction

The primary node name within the cluster displays as a UUID rather than the expected Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN). Administrators observing the cluster configuration or UI will see a UUID string instead of the standard hostname.

Environment

VMware Aria Operations 8.x

Cause

The system configuration mapped the primary node hostname to its UUID during deployment or a subsequent lifecycle operation instead of the FQDN.

Resolution

2.Execute the configuration update as specified in the referenced article to safely modify the node identifier from UUID to FQDN.
