Issue/Introduction

When modifying credentials or changing the application category for a ServiceNow connection in ConnectALL, previously saved Connection Properties (such as entity.types) are dropped from the configuration. This requires the user to manually re-enter the configuration properties after every save.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Create a connection to ServiceNow.
  2. In the connection properties, add entity.types with a specific value (e.g., 'cmdb_ci_service').
  3. Save the properties.
  4. Modify the connection (e.g., change application category).
  5. Save the connection.
  6. Observe that the Connection Property for entity.types is missing.

Actual Results:
Connection Property is getting dropped and the user needs to redo the config.

Expected Results:
Connection Property for entity.types retained

Environment

4.2.0

Cause

This issue is due to a product defect (DE205722) where reconciling advanced properties during the connection save process causes the property order to shift or the properties to be dropped.

Resolution

Fixed in release 4.2.2 and higher.
