Issue/Introduction

• A ping test from each of the VCF service runtime nodes to VCF Operations fails.
• The SDDC Manager log file /var/log/vmware/vcf/domainmanager/domainmanager.log contains this error - 

ERROR [vcf_dm,####,####] [c.v.e.s.o.model.error.ErrorFactory,dm-exec-####]  [####] PUBLIC_FLEET_LCM_TASK_FAILED The Fleet lifecycle {0} task with ID ####-####-####-####-#### failed. Internal errors: Unexpected server error has occurred.

Environment

VCF 9.1.0.0

Cause

• A routing failure or network misconfiguration between the VCF services runtime node and the VCF Operations node prevents the required communication for the Fleet Lifecycle task to complete.

Resolution

1. Resolve the network issue so that traffic can flow between all VCF services runtime nodes and VCF Operations.
2. Restart the task - "Deploy VCF Management Components".
3. The restarted task - "Deploy VCF Management Components" is expected to conclude successfully.
