Issue/Introduction

Can I use List Components or any other Endevor Report to list JOB to PROC to PROGRAM references or dependencies?

Resolution

Endevor List Components is built from the ACM, Automated Configuration and provides information on application programs and the components -- the common code (such as COBOL copybooks, Assembler macros, and called subroutines) -- which make up those programs.

JCL and PROCs are the scripts and are not components of the application programs. Therefore, List Components Used by Element would not provide references or dependencies for JCL or PROC members.

Endevor does not have a report that would provide the references or dependencies for JCL or PROC members.
