Query tab in Advanced Search does not filter jobs in AAI 24.4

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms

When using the Advanced Search dialog in the AAI 24.4 Web UI, filters entered via the Query tab (the free-text entry box) fail to apply.

• The user checks Enable Edit and enters a valid query (e.g., DESCRIPTION contains 'restart').
• Upon clicking Apply, the search executes, but the results are not filtered.
• All jobs are displayed as if no criteria were entered.
• No error message or syntax warning is displayed.

Version: 24.4.0

Cause

This is a product defect (DE201913) where the Query tab's text parser fails to correctly pass the filter criteria to the backend search engine. This issue is a regression specific to the 24.4.0 release.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in AAI version 24.4.1. Customers experiencing this behavior should upgrade to 24.4.1 or a later version.
