Issue/Introduction

• This alert can be genuinely indicative of a network problem, and customer should first confirm that the network is healthy
  
  
• If its concluded that all network communication is good and there is no functional impact, this alert can be ignored.

Environment

VMware vSAN 8.x

Cause

This issue is caused by a routing loop within the network topology. The alert is triggered due to a difference in the way the ping test is performed for the health check.

Resolution

This will be resolved in a future release of 8.0 U3 and a future release of 9.1
