Issue/Introduction

When monitoring a workflow in the Automic Web Interface (AWI) version 24.4.4, the process lines (connection lines) may shift, align incorrectly, or extend beyond the workflow container boundaries. This behavior is specifically observed when:

  • Expanding nested workflows within the monitor (e.g., a FOR-EACH workflow containing IF workflows).
  • Navigating or zooming within the Workflow Monitor view.

The issue makes it difficult to visually analyze the workflow structure, although the underlying execution and functionality of the tasks are not affected.

Environment

  • Product: Automic Automation
  • Component: Automic Web Interface (AWI)
  • Version: 24.4.4 and 26.0.0

Cause

This issue is caused by a UI rendering regression in the AWI monitor components when handling nested workflow structures.

The defect is tracked by Engineering as DE205059.

Resolution

Update to a fix version listed below or a newer version if available.

  • Automic Web Interface 24.4.5 - Available
