CloudFront Transfer costs Origin Locations are duplicated.

Issue/Introduction

The CloudFront Transfer costs in the Data Transfer report might show duplicated Origin Locations.

Resolution

The AWS regions are not a one-to-one mapping to CloudFront edge regions. 

 

For example, the Middle East has 2 regions in AWS Regions. Israel is not categorized as the Middle East.

Whereas, CloudFront has 7 regions in the Middle East (including Israel).
