Issue/Introduction

Question:

should DB10DCM1 and CADB2INT reside in the linklisted CAW0LOAD or in the ENF CAW0DCM ?

 

Answer:

1. As long as you have CA Top Secret in the linklst, you dont need to run the
DB13ENF1 and ENF2 jobs.These ENF load modules are not only used by CA Top
Secret but other products.Running the DB13ENF1 and ENF2 jobs would ensure that
these modules are always available just in case CA Top Secret was ever removed
from the linklst.
2. This is normal. ENF is only needed during DB2
initializaions so the security hooks can be planted.


In short, after running the above jobs, it doesnt matter if they are linklisted
or not.
They will be made available to TSS, ENF and DB2.
