VCF Operations 9.0.2 Used Capacity displays as zero when ESXi hosts are on version 8.0

Issue/Introduction

• Used Capacity is not displayed for the VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 
• In the VCF Operations UI, navigating to License Management > Licenses shows that the used capacity is zero (0) for the target VCF instance.

 

Environment

• VCF Operations: 9.0.2
• ESXi Hosts: 8.0

Cause

The issue is caused by a version mismatch between the ESXi hosts (8.0) and the VCF Operations environment (9.0.2). 

 

Resolution

Upgrade the associated ESXi hosts from version 8.0 to version 9.0 to align with the VCF Operations environment requirements.

Upgrading the hosts brings the environment into BOM compliance, allowing the VCF adapter to successfully retrieve and display the correct license capacity metrics.
