Version missing in inst_list robot_update controller callback

Issue/Introduction

When executing the hub controller callback inst_list, the robot_update entry does not display the version field. This information is missing in the GUI and installed packages list, although the inst_summary callback reports the version correctly. This behavior is observed on secondary hubs after deploying infrastructure updates.

Environment

• DX Unified Infrastructure Management (UIM) 23.4.*
• hub probe version 23.4.6.1 or earlier
• robot_update package

Cause

A defect in the hub controller logic prevents the version attribute from being correctly populated in the inst_list response PDS (Property Data Set).

Resolution

This issue is caused by a product defect (DE677820).

To resolve the issue:

1. Upgrade the UIM environment to 23.4 Cumulative Update 8 (CU8) or later.
2. Deploy the updated Nimsoft Infrastructure (hub) package included in the CU8 release to the affected hubs.
3. Open Infrastructure Manager, select the hub controller, and press Ctrl+P to open the callback window.
4. Select inst_list and click the green arrow to execute.
5. Verify that the robot_update entry now contains the version key with the correct value.
