Issue/Introduction

Symptoms

• Changed the network used for communication between Nutanix CVMs.
• The guest OS became unresponsive and recovered after a reboot.
• The following alarm is displayed when the network cable is disconnected:
  Alarm 'Cannot connect to storage' on <ESXi> triggered by event XXXXXXX 'Lost connection to server xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx mount point /XXXXXXX mounted as NNNNNN-NNNNN-0000-000000000000 (XXXXXXX).'

Cause

The connection to the Nutanix NFS mount point has been lost.

Resolution

Please contact Nutanix to confirm whether the location where the cable was disconnected affects storage access.
