Issue/Introduction

ConnectALL flat file automations may experience performance warnings where polling runs longer than normal (e.g., exceeding 200% threshold). This results in the automation timing out and aborting during the startup phase, even when processing a minimal volume of records.

• Symptoms:
  • Polling warnings indicating slow execution (e.g., exceeding 200% threshold).
  • Memory usage spikes observed in environment during automation runs.
  • Automation tasks timing out on flat file processing.
  • Abort on startup during initial job execution.

Steps to Reproduce: 

1. Create a Flat File automation syncing to Rally

2. Run the automation

Expected Results: 

• Syncs successfully

Actual Results:

• Flat File Automations are timing out

Environment

• ConnectALL SaaS release 4.2.0 
• Flat File Automation syncing to Rally

Cause

This issue is caused by a product defect (DE204742) in the polling logic for flat file automations when handling specific queue depths.

Resolution

Fixed in release 4.2.2 and higher. See Download Broadcom products and software for steps to download this release.
