Symptoms
When upgrading to VCF Automation 9 using the internal load balancer option in the upgrade wizard, the process fails during the validation or deployment phase.
Errors in the logs or UI may indicate:
-Failure to match the VMware Cloud Foundation Automation (VCFA) FQDN to the IP provided in the Primary VIP field.-Validation failures related to node count or FQDN binding.

There is a discrepancy in the VCF 9 upgrade documentation regarding the Primary VIP field requirements. While documentation may state that this field requires the IP of the first node, this is only applicable to external load balancer configurations. For internal load balancers, the wizard requires the Load Balancer IP address that is mapped to the VCFA FQDN.
