This article clarifies the operational requirements for VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) license portability.

VCF 9.x

Resolution

The following licenses are eligible for sharing and do not require authorization from Broadcom for use with a supported cloud service provider.

• Primary licenses.
• Add-on licenses. The end customer must have a valid shared primary license as well.
