Issue/Introduction

Starting with version 9.1, VM Apps organizations and All Apps organizations can share a vCenter instance that has a Supervisor with VPC networking enabled.

Environment

VCF Automation 9.1.0

Resolution

To activate resource sharing, navigate to the Feature Flags page from the left navigation pane and activate the Mixed Tenancy Mode feature flag.

1. Log in to VCF Automation Provider Management Portal

2. Go to Feature Flags

3. Enable "Mixed Tenancy Mode"

Whenever the Organization types share a vCenter and NSX Local Manager pair, the Organization for VM Apps must be created before the Organization for All Apps. The Organization for VM Apps must be configured (including mapping the vCenter and NSX Manager cloud accounts) before a VCF Automation Region is configured using the same vCenter and NSX Manager).
