Issue/Introduction

In vCenter Server 8.0 U3j, task status strings are not displayed correctly when using the Korean UI or Japanese UI.

  • The multi-byte characters are replaced by broken HTML entity strings.
  • For example, the status "완료됨" (Completed) is incorrectly displayed as "완료됨"

Cause

This is a rendering issue that occurs when processing multi-byte characters.

Resolution

This Issue willbe fixed in next upcoming release.

The English UI is unaffected by this issue.
