Duplicate Entries in Spectrum Due to UIM–Spectrum Synchronization Issue.

Issue/Introduction

We are experiencing an issue where duplicate server entries are appearing in Spectrum, which seems to be caused by the UIM–Spectrum synchronization.

 

Devices that already exist in Spectrum are being re-created, resulting in multiple models representing the same server. Could you please look into this synchronization issue?

Environment

UIM - 23.4.6
spectrugtw - 23.4.5
spectrum - 24.3.1

Resolution

Follow the below Step:-

= Deactivate the spectrumgtw probe in UIM.
= Navigate to the .../Nimsoft/probes/gateway/spectrumgtw/cache folder.
= Delete the SpectrumAlarmsCache.dat and UimAlarmsCache.dat files.
= Activate the spectrumgtw probe
= Perform Synchronize All Inventory  ( Spectrumgtw==> Configuration==> Spectrum configuration== Action)
