Error: DC Locator is not running false positive alerts in ad_server probe

Issue/Introduction

The ad_server probe (v2.10-T1) generates critical alerts stating "DC Locator is not running" with a status of 1. However, native Windows diagnostic tools confirm the service is healthy.

Specific symptoms include:

• The probe reports status = 1 (Failure).
• Thresholds for status > 0 are breached, triggering constant alerts.
• Commands like nltest /dsgetdc:[DOMAIN] /pdc and netdom query fsmo run successfully on the same server.

Environment

• DX UIM 23.4.*
• ad_server probe v2.10-T1

Cause

This issue is caused by a product defect (DE677840). 

Resolution

Fixed in ad_server release 2.10-T2 and higher.

1. Download the attached ad_server-2.10-T2-20260611.003216-1-T2.zip build
2. Import to IM or AC and deploy to the ad_server probe. 

Additional Information

These fixes will be included in the next GA probe and contain any previous delivered fixes.
