SSPI Upgrade Banner Disappears After Upgrade Failure When Upgrading to Version 5.2

Issue/Introduction
Symptoms:
When upgrading Security Services Platform Installer (SSPI) from a version earlier than 5.2 to version 5.2, the upgrade notification banner is displayed when the upgrade process begins.
The banner displays the following message:
"The managed Security Services Platform user interface might be unavailable during the upgrade. However, there is no data loss. After the upgrade is complete, refresh your browser."
If the upgrade enters a failed state, the banner disappears from the UI even though the upgrade process has not completed successfully.
Environment
- Security Services Platform Installer (SSPI) versions prior to 5.2
- Upgrades from pre-5.2 releases to version 5.2
Cause
In releases prior to version 5.2, the upgrade banner is configured to display only when the upgrade status is In Progress.
When the upgrade transitions to a Failed state, the application removes the banner because the failed state is not included in the banner display logic.
As a result, the upgrade notification is no longer visible after an upgrade failure.The disappearance of the banner may lead the users to believe that the upgrade notification has been cleared, even though the upgrade has failed and requires further action.
Resolution
Workaround:
- Identify and resolve the cause of the upgrade failure.
- Restart the upgrade process.
Once the upgrade is initiated again and returns to the In Progress state, the upgrade banner will be displayed in the user interface.
