Issue/Introduction

If the Web Manager is started on the Reference Node, the Uproc can be edited, but it still fails to find REST services because it continues to search the Reference Node's local manager for settings.

Environment

Product: Automic Dollar Universe 7.x

Component: Dollar Universe Application Server (DUAS)

Cause

This behavior is by design. Node settings are specific to each individual node and are not shared across the Company. Because each node maintains its own local environment, there is no central point where settings for all nodes within the same Company are stored or synchronized.

Resolution

To resolve this, you must ensure the Reference Node has the same configuration as the execution node.

Steps to resolve:

  1. Access the node where the Uproc and REST settings are correctly defined.
  2. Create a Package of Node Settings containing the required configurations.
  3. Deploy this package to the Reference Node.
  4. Once the configurations are deployed to the Reference Node, it will be able to recognize the REST services when editing through the Job Chain or Business View.
