CA Network Flow Analysis (NetQos / NFA)

Issue/Introduction

Issue:

The NFA 9.3.3 install documents reference configuring the Security Tab in the SNMP Service. However, this tab is not present in Windows 2012.

Environment:

Windows 2012

Cause:

By default, Windows 2012 does not include SNMP Tools. Installing SNMP Tools will add the missing Security tab to the SNMP service.

Resolution:

1. Go into Control Panel and select “Turn Windows features on or off” under Programs.

2. Click the “Next” button several times until you get to the “Select Features” screen.

3. Expand “Remote Server Administration Tools->Feature Administration Tools” and check “SNMP Tools”.

4. Click “Install.”

5. Once this is complete, reboot the server. This should add the missing Security tab.
