VVF / VCF 9.1 Installation Fails Due to Mixed-Vendor ESXi Hosts in Management Domain

Issue/Introduction
VMware vSphere Foundation (VVF) 9.1 installation fails during the deployment of the Management Domain. The following error is observed during the validation or bring-up phase:
Error message to install the 9.1 VVF as there is ESX Hosts don't have the same vendor. vLCM is not supported on ESX Hosts with different vendor. Found vendors are: [vendor 1,vendor 2]

Cause
Heterogeneous (mixed-vendor) clusters are not supported during the initial installation of the Management Domain. The deployment workflow uses the first ESXi host to seed the vSphere Lifecycle Manager (vLCM) image for the cluster. Because vCenter Server is not yet deployed or functional at this stage, the system lacks the required vLCM service to compose a heterogeneous image.
Resolution
Ensure all ESXi hosts allocated for the initial Management Domain deployment share the exact same hardware vendor.
Replace any mixed-vendor hardware within the target cluster to achieve a homogeneous hardware baseline.
Re-image the ESXi hosts with the appropriate ESXi version.
Restart the VVF/VCF deployment workflow.
Additional Information
Heterogeneous clusters as fully supported for new workload domain creation and new cluster addition. The precondition being that a composite image must be composed in vCenter with the required vendor specific drivers and imported into SDDC Manager.
