How to List Headers and Screen Definitions (SDs) in Telon 5.1

Issue/Introduction

Following an upgrade from Telon Application Generator v4.0 to v5.1, users may need to perform an inventory of all application headers and their associated Screen Definitions (SDs) within the Telon Design Facility (TDF).

Environment

Resolution

1. Accessing the Header List

To find a definitive list of all headers used within your TDF environment:

1. Log into the Telon Design Facility (TDF).
2. From the TDF Main Menu, type INSTALL at the Command prompt and press Enter.
3. In the Installation submenu, select the option List application Header information.
4. The system will display a list of all headers currently defined in the TDF database.

1. Log into the Telon Design Facility (TDF).
2. From the TDF Main Menu, type 'U' for Utilities and press Enter. 
3. From this menu, please type 'LH' to List the Headers and press Enter. 

 

Additional Information

For users who have recently migrated from v4.x, note that several parameters—including naming conventions and header information—are managed via the Installation submenu (accessible by typing INSTALL on the main menu).
Access to this menu may require a database password (default: CSIMK).
