A Dollar Universe node experience severe performance degradation, instability, or unexpected crashes. This behavior occurs on critical nodes handling a high volume of daily jobs and manifests through the following symptoms:
Massive Log Expansion: The universe.log files expand rapidly, sometimes logging over 240,000 lines within a 24-hour window.
Disk Space Exhaustion: Excessive log generation leads to FATAL "Available space on LOG file system too low" messages, forcing node shutdowns.
Specific Error Patterns in universe.log:
GAGESHIS | L'execution [ID] est inconnue dans l'historique (Execution ID is unknown in history).
Error connecting to target 10 server: u_io_callsrv_connect_r Errno syserror 111: Connection refused.
k_connect_auth_timeout returns error [200] / o_connect_auth in error [-1].
Job Launch Failures: Jobs triggered via the uxordre command occasionally fail with the message Probleme d'ecriture parm No 001 (Problem writing param No 001).
Uncontrolled Data File Growth: The u_fmsp60.dta file grows indefinitely without being correctly compressed or trimmed by standard purging routines.
Product: CA Automic Dollar Universe Application Node
Affected Releases: Version 7.00.21 and lower versions (specifically observed on nodes upgraded from legacy v5.6 environments).
Operating System: Linux (e.g., Rocky Linux 9.6) / Cross-platform
