Autosys Workload Automation

Issue/Introduction

Job dependencies do not appear within the Workload Control Center (WCC) UI for specific jobs or across the entire console.
This typically impacts the Monitoring and QuickView tabs where dependency lines or status information normally display.

Environment

  • Autosys Workload Automation 12.X, 24.X
  • Workload Control Center (WCC) 12.X, 24.X

Cause

This issue occurs when the WCC Collector service fails to synchronize properly with the AutoSys Application Server or when the WCC UI cache becomes stale following an environmental change or network interruption.

Resolution

Restart the WCC services to re-establish the connection and refresh the job dependency data:

  1. Stop the WCC services on all nodes:
    • unisrvcntr stop CA-wcc (Linux/Unix)
    • Use Services.msc to stop CA-wcc and CA-wcc-services (Windows)
  2. Restart the services on one node first to ensure the collector initializes properly.
  3. Verify job dependencies display in QuickView.
  4. Start services on any remaining cluster nodes.

If the issue persists, verify that the Application Server host and Web Services URL are correctly defined in WCC Configuration.
