Issue/Introduction

PostgreSQL Global Development Group had new releases on 2026-05-14 includes fixes for 11 security vulnerabilities and over 60 bugs reported. Would like to confirm in the Symantec Liveupdate Administrator [LUA] is impacted by any of these reported vulnerabilities

Resolution

 LUA is not impacted by any of the listed CVEs in the mentioned document, as it does not use CREATE TYPE, timeofday(), large objects, pg_basebackup, pg_createsubscriber, the refint extension, logical replication, or MD5.
