Issue/Introduction

• The VCF deployment workflow fails during the validation phase of vcf installer bringup when the deployment parameter sheet specifies LACP for the NFS storage network.
  The failure consistently occurs during the vcf installer with NFS LACP provisioning and validation fails at the NFS Datastore Configuration step, preventing the deployment wizard from proceeding.
  
  
• Symptoms: When encountering this issue, the following symptoms are observed within the deployment environment:
  UI Error Message: The VCF Installer or Cloud Builder user interface displays the following fatal validation error:
  Failed to validate NFS configuration. NFS datastore mount failed on host <REDACTED_HOSTNAME> : An error occurred during host configuration
  
  
• Workflow Status: The deployment progress fails at the validation phase, blocking the creation of the management domain.

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 9.1

Cause

In VCF 9.x, the installer's validation engine has a known issue during the NFS Datastore Configuration check. If the installer detects an active LACP/LAG team on the host's initial standard configuration before the vSphere Distributed Switch (vDS) is fully formed, it flags the setup as invalid, causing the validation to fail with an NFS connectivity error.
