REST Agent fails to load in Automic Automation 24.3.0

Issue/Introduction

Users may find that the REST Agent (specifically version 24.2.0 or lower) does not load or initialize correctly when used with Automation Engine version 24.3.0.

 

Environment

Automic Automation Engine 24.3.0

Automic Web Interface 24.3.0

REST Agent 24.2.0 or lower

Cause

A product defect prevents REST Agent solutions from loading in the 24.3.0 environment. 

Resolution

There are no fixes planned for the 24.3 release branch for this issue. To resolve this behavior, upgrade to one of the following versions:

1. Automic Automation 24.4.3
2. Automic Automation 24.4.4+hf2
3. Automic Automation 26.0.0

Fixed in release 24.4.3 and higher.
