Issue/Introduction
- Attempting to upgrade HCX Network Extension (NE) appliances.
- Initial upgrade task fails, but a subsequent retry succeeds.
- A powered-off VM with the suffix "-redeploying" remains in the vCenter inventory.
Environment
VMware HCX 4.11.3
VMware HCX 9.0.2
Cause
Workflow artifact left behind when the HCX Manager fails to trigger the automated cleanup of a temporary VM after an initial task failure.
