Symantec browser causing browsing performances issues (VDI environment)

Issue/Introduction

While having SEP extension installed on both Edge or Chrome, users are noticing a delay/slowness in accessing any website within their network (solved only by disabling Intrusion prevention policy)

Environment

SEP client 14.3 RU9 and above

 

Resolution

A new WebExt version has been released with the latest build of SEP extension version SEF.Web 1.4.3.4 (existing) / WebExtBridge 2.5.0.668 (new).

This fix aims to rectify this issue we noticed on this build and stabilize the browsing experience for users.
