Issue/Introduction

Question:
I downloaded all the maintenance for a product and although many fixes were downloaded they all have a status under installed of No CSI available. Any thoughts?

Answer:
The reason for the "No CSI available" is that CA CSM may not have any CSI that has FMID's to which those PTF's can be applied and if such a CSI is known to CA CSM it is not in your working set. At the bottom of the list you should see a list of CSI's. One of those CSI's maybe for the product to which you want to apply the maintenance, Check off the CSI and click Update Working Set.

Any PTF that has the FMID it updates in the CSI should no longer have "No CSI available".

Also note that the maintenance can also be applied from the Maintenance Tab. To apply maintenance from the Products tab, the CSI to which the maintenance is being applied must be in your working set. However from the Maintenance tab this is not necessary.

Please click the SMP/E Environment tab. This should give you a list of the CSI's on the right. Click the name of the CSI. You will then see these tabs:

SMP/E Environment Information
Zone Sets
Installed Products
Maintenance
Pending Installations

Click the Maintenance tab. This will list all the PTF's.

Check off the Filter checkbox and this will enable the filters for these columns:

You can receive, apply and accept individuals PTF's from the Actions button or a group of PTF's by checking them off and using these options from the command line:
Select and: Receive | Apply | Accept | Accept GROUPEXTEND | Reject | Restore
