The storage capacity of Archive Storage incorrectly displays the values of Live Storage.

Issue/Introduction

The capacity and usage metrics displayed for Archive Storage (configured with external storage such as NFS) incorrectly match the values of Live Storage, rather than reflecting the actual size of the external storage.

 

Environment

VMware Aria Operations for Logs 8.18.0

Cause

This is a UI issue.

Resolution

This is a display-only issue on the user interface. No immediate action is required if the archiving process is functioning normally.

Upgrade VMware Aria Operations for Logs to 8.18.7, where this UI rendering issue has been resolved.
