Issue/Introduction

• When upgrading VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Automation from version 9.0.2 to 9.1, the upgrade process for the  VCF Automation component fails during the precheck phase.

• The failure stems from an intermittent library validation issue. When reviewing the pod status on the consumption cluster, certain deployment pods such as health-status-app and svc-logrotate display an ImagePullBackOff state:

Cause

• This issue is caused by an intermittent concurrency conflict occurring inside the upgrade pre-check library infrastructure.

Additional Information

• To bypass the intermittent library failure and proceed with the deployment, re-run the upgrade pre-checks within the interface.
