How to clear the WRITER field for incoming Spool files?

Resolution

Use the following DESTID statement:

DESTID QDEST=Rxxxx,FDEST=Rxxxx

It basically routes the file into the same destination. By doing this the WRITER field is nullified.

If for some reason the WRITER field wants to be retained, while the file is sent to another Spool defined destination, then consider using: 

DESTID QDEST=Rxxxx,FDEST=(Ryyyy.&RMT)
