Newly added datastore is not available for component deployment in VCF Operations 9.0 Lifecycle

Issue/Introduction

A datastore is newly added in vCenter and functions without issues. 
When attempting to add or deploy a component (such as "Deploy Network Insight") in VCF Operations 9.0 Lifecycle, the datastore does not appear in the selection menu.

Environment

VCF Operations 9.0

Cause

The Lifecycle deployment target inventory is out of sync with the vCenter Server inventory. Changes made directly in vCenter, such as adding a new NFS datastore, are not automatically pushed to the VCF Operations Lifecycle component.

Note: While the datastore may already appear in the general VCF Operations inventory (synced via KB 425835), it remains unavailable within the specific Lifecycle deployment wizard until a manual refresh is triggered.

Resolution

To populate the datastore into the deployment wizard's selection list, perform a manual refresh of the deployment targets:

• Log in to VCF Operations.
• Navigate to Fleet Management -> Lifecycle.
• Go to VCF Management -> Settings.
• Select Deployment Targets.
• Locate the specific vCenter and click Refresh Data Collection.
