Issue/Introduction

The goal of this article is to provide instructions for accessing and navigate the Automic-specific compatibility matrix for Automation Engine components and agents.

 

Environment

Resolution

Method 1: Direct Access

1. Navigate directly to the Automic Automation - Compatibility Matrix

Method 2: Via the Downloads Portal

1. From the Quick Start page (Quick Start for Automic Downloads & Documentation), locate the Tools menu bar along the top of the page.
2. Select Compatibility Matrix from the dropdown menu.

Navigating the Matrix

1. Select Product: Click the Product dropdown menu and select Automic Automation (e.g., v24.4).
2. Filter by Component: Click the Component dropdown.
3. Search: Type the name of the component you are investigating (e.g., FTP) into the search window.
4. View Results: Click on the component name when it appears. The matrix will load, displaying compatibility information across different versions available for that specific component.
