Issue/Introduction

The V24.4 documentation was updated with new UI labels but lacked the necessary contextual notes to bridge the terminology gap for long-term users.
Specifically, the generic definition of "Logical Date" fails to mention "previous executions," which is critical for understanding External Dependency behavior.

Resolution

This has been identified as a documentation defect. Internal defect DE185186 has been opened to update the Webhelp.

Until the documentation is officially updated, please note the following:

• Functional Parity: The option "after the Workflow's logical date" is functionally identical to the legacy "after the last workflow execution end" setting. No changes were made to the backend processing logic.
• Contextual Definition: In the context of External Dependencies, "Logical Date" refers to either:
  • The timestamp of the workflow’s current start date.
  • The end timestamp of the previous execution.
