Issue/Introduction

When an archive journal or log job is submitted by the CV, a $HASP100 message is written to the CV joblog.

04.34.59 JOB58915  $HASP100 CV01PLOG ON INTRDR                            FROM JOB50320 JOBCV001

Why would there be some additional text in it?

09.14.29 JOB85265  $HASP100 CV01AJNL ON INTRDR      ADDITIONAL TEXT       FROM JOB50320 JOBCV001

Environment

Release: All supported releases.

Resolution

Whatever is in the programmer's name parameter of the jobcard of the job being submitted is placed into the text of the message.

Example:

//CV01AJNL JOB (000000000),CLASS=B,MSGCLASS=X,'ADDITIONAL TEXT'

This is JES2 functionality. IDMS is playing no role here.
