Missing VxRail plugin in vSphere Client after VxRail Manager certificate update

Issue/Introduction

VxRail plugin is not displayed on vSphere Client after VxRail Manager was reverted from a snapshot.

• VxRail plugin is not displayed on vSphere Client.
  VxRail plugin is listed under Administration > Client plugins.
  VxRail Manager certificate is replaced. 
  For example:
  • Revert VxRail Manager from a snapshot before replacing VxRail Manager's certificate.
• vSphere Client log says new thumbprint <THUMBPRINT> is registered to VxRail plugin.

VxRail Manager

Cause

VxRail plug-in does not appear in vSphere Client if thumbprint that is registered to the plug-in does not match actual VxRail Manager.

This is expected behavior of vSphere Client Remote Plug-ins as described in Troubleshooting: Plug-in Thumbprint Incorrect.

Contact VxRail vendor.
