SYSVIEW Performance Management Option for DB2 for z/OS Database Management for DB2 for z/OS - Performance Suite

Issue/Introduction

When using Wily-APM, how do we monitor more than one Db2 subsystem via the XNET/SYSVIEW(IDB2) product interface?

Resolution

If your DB2 subsystems reside on the same LPAR you need only one XNET STC up and running (with it's one user-defined PORT) to handle the multiple
Sysview PMO (formerly known as Insight for DB2(IDB2)) Data Collector STC's monitoring their respective DB2 subsystems. Each IDB2 Data Collector will
need to have the XNETAGT=YES parameter active in their respective SYSPARMS.

From the Wily-APM side you will want to specify in APM's properties file parameter: Insight.DB2.subsystem.name.list= *
or list the DB2 subsystem names: Insight.DB2.subsystem.name.list= ssid1,ssid2,etc.

Also make certain that when defining to your security the APPLS passticket definition has the appropriate parameter as such: for TSS (SIGNMULTI),
for ACF2 (MULT-USE), and for RACF ('NO REPLAY PROTECTION').
