Spectrum 25.4.5 Secure Domain Connector (SDC) crashing frequently

Issue/Introduction

The Secure Domain Connector (SDC) service drops unexpectedly and fails to remain stable. When checking /var/log/messages, a segmentation fault (segfault) is recorded similar to the following:

kernel: SdmConnectorSer[PID]: segfault at [address] ip [address] sp [address] error 4 in libcaopenssl_crypto.so

Cause

This issue has been identified as a product defect (DE189483) related to how the SDC service interacts with the CA OpenSSL crypto libraries during secure communication.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in debug patch 25.04.05.D339.
