Issue/Introduction

Does Web Viewer 12.0 use or have a relationship with a product called Daemon Tool Lite?

The reason for the question is due to CVE-2026-8398 for Daemon Tool Lite.

Resolution

As long as you are not having any issues mounting the WV12 ISO as part of a fresh install, then we don't see any relationship with Daemon Tools Lite.

If you are running into issues mounting the WV12 ISO while using Daemon Tools Lite, then you should reach out to that Software's vendor or mount without using Daemon Tools.
