Issue/Introduction

For Deliver external security, using ACF2, what rules will allow an end user to create jobs and add Distribution IDs?

Environment

• ACF2™ for z/OS 
• Deliver™
• OM Deliver for z
• Output Management View® for z/OS

Resolution

With use of RMOPARM EXTSEC=(UNIQUE,LIMIT), for external security with Deliver:

1.  Locate the active set of ACF2 rules applicable to CA Deliver, with Resource Type prefix of "DLV@".
2.  Add a rule, beyond READ access, of "DLV@DIST", ACF2 Type DDI (Distribution IDs).
3.  Add a rule, beyond READ access, of "DLV@JOB", ACF2 Type DJB (Jobs).
