This article clarifies how client operating system updates and versions affect the compatibility and functionality of the vSphere Client UI.

Resolution

The vSphere Client is an HTML5-based web application and is not a locally installed application on the client device. Therefore, the compatibility and functionality of the vSphere Client do not directly depend on the specific version of the client operating system.

Instead, compatibility relies entirely on the supported web browsers running on that operating system. As long as you are using a supported and up-to-date modern web browser (such as Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox), the vSphere Client UI will function correctly without limitations.
